Education:   
PhD, Colorado State University, 1992

Experience:   
Since 1972 he has been involved in residential construction, commercial construction, and real estate development in Arizona.  He served as Corporate Officer and then President of Jacobson Companies and Yuma Valley Contractors, both Arizona Corporations, until leaving in 1988 for a 6-year teaching experience at BYU.

From 1994-2003 he served as President/CEO of H&S Developers and Far West Water & Sewer Corporations.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for a locally-owned community bank in Yuma, AZ.

He is a registered professional engineer in both Utah and Arizona and has held a Real Estate and Brokers License for over 20 years.
